After opening Lone Star High School in 2010 as the assistant soccer coach, Coach Hollingworth took over the reins in 2015 and is beginning his sixth
year as the head coach, with multiple playoff appearances. Coach Hollingworth brings 20 plus years of coaching experience at different levels including College, High School and Club level.
Coach Hollingworth began playing soccer in Pretoria, South Africa. At the age of 16 he made his debut for the Semi Pro Club Team, Arcadia Shepherds. While in South Africa he represented the State/Provincial team as well as the u/20 National Pool Team. After Graduation he was recruited by West Texas A&M University where he was a 4 year starter and a 2 year captain. Coach Hollingworth led the Buffaloes to two Conference Championships, two Regional Championships,
and two NCAA Division II Elite Eight Appearances.
